WATCH: What Jey Uso did following Solo Sikoas Bloodlines viciously destroyed Paul Heyman after

Publish date: 2024-07-18

Jey Uso took on Finn Balor in a dark match after the most recent episode of SmackDown went off the air. As the bell rang, the Samoan asked his opponent to wait. He then raised his hands, teasing his iconic Yeet chant, and pointed towards the referee. The match official asked the former Universal Champion to wait a few moments and went to have a chat with the 10-time Tag Team Champion.

The Irishman waited near the turnbuckle for them to finish, looking highly irritated. Uso asked the referee to step toward the middle of the ring and perform his Yeet pose. The match official obliged, prompting a huge pop from the crowd. He gave Jey Uso a fist bump and asked the competitors to resume the match.

However, Uso was not done yet. As Finn Balor stepped towards him, the former Bloodline member asked him to stop once again. He then pointed toward the ring announcer, Alicia Taylor. She climbed up on the ring apron and did the Yeet pose herself, prompting another pop from the crowd. After this showboating, the two competitors finally got on with their match, with the Samoan emerging victorious.

This act occurred shortly after SmackDown went off the air. During the final few moments of the show, Solo Sikoa asked Paul Heyman to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief. The Hall of Famer refused, asserting that Roman Reigns was his true Tribal Chief, not the 31-year-old. This enraged the former North American Champion. He, along with the rest of the Bloodline, wrecked the Wiseman and put him through the announce table.

Jey Uso reacts to the passing of Roman Reigns’ father, Sika Anoa’i

The wrestling world lost a beloved member of the Samoan family over the past week. Sika Anoa’i, the father of Roman Reigns, recently passed away at the age of 79. Being a member of the Anoa’i/Fatu family, Jey Uso took to Instagram to pay his respects to those who paved the way for Samoans in wrestling.

Uso uploaded an Instagram story in which he can be seen wearing his cap and headphones. Further, the 38-year-old bowed his head to pay respect to his ancestor. He can also be seen holding up his index finger, a symbol of acknowledgment in the Bloodline storyline.

Uso captioned the story, saying that he had to do the acknowledgment symbol one last time for his uncle while praying that he rested in peace. Sika’s son, Roman Reigns, also went on to share a heartfelt message on his X account shortly after the passing of his father.
