Vaibhav Lakshmi Vrat, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, is celebrated for achieving peace, wealth, and happiness. The vrat is generally observed by Married women, however it is also open to unmarried women and men.
To get the best benefit it has to be done in a certain way.
Here are the rules one need to follow for the Vaibhav Laxmi Vrat :-
- The Vrat should be observed for 11 or 21 Fridays,. If you have monthly periods (menstruation), or are travelling, or have a family emergency, you may skip a Friday.
- Fasting begins at sunrise and finishes with evening puja and dusk.
- The vrat should be done with complete devotion rather than with a specific objective or goal in mind.
- Goddess Lakshmi, Dhan Lakshmi, or Shri Yantra may all be prayed to. Only one penny must be placed in front of Goddess Lakshmi. Gold, silver, and other precious metals are not required.
- The Prasad that is offered to Goddess Lakshmi can be eaten by the person undertaking fast.
- If you have health problems or work, you may only have one vegetarian meal each day. Eating fruits is another option.
- Try to undertake Annadanam or food donation on the vrat day if feasible. It is exceedingly auspicious to feed even a single living thing on this day.
