Jane Wyman was an American actress, singer, dancer, and philanthropist. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for Johnny Belinda (1948). She was the daughter of Gladys Hope (Christian) and Manning Jefferies Mayfield.

She had three children with her former husband, actor and later President of the Unites States Ronald Reagan. Her surname was from her first husband Ernest Eugene Wyman.

Jane’s paternal grandfather was Pulaski Greene/Green Mayfield (the son of Manning Mayfield and Martha Smith). Pulaski was born in Georgia or Illinois. Manning was the son of Luke Mayfield and Delilah Murray Gore.

Jane’s paternal grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Jefferies (the daughter of John Jefferies and Sarah Ann Milliner/Millener). Mary Elizabeth was born in Illinois. Sarah was the daughter of James C.
