Ghosts of New Eden Map
Altars featured in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are places where you can permanently increase your stats. Altars of the Incarnate increase your health points, and Altars of the Invisible increase your spirit points.
Collectibles are all sorts of documents, notes and the like that have been scattered around the game world that you can collect.
Cursed Chests are one of the types of secrets that can be found in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. They can't be opened right away, you have to perform the "Unbounding" ritual to remove the curse first. In addition, you must find 3 specific Wooden Figurines to perform the ritual. In each of these chests you will find a piece of equipment.
Wooden Figurines are items that are needed to perform the rituals needed to unlock the Cursed Chests. They come in sets of three. A total of 48 of them can be found and are generally, except for three, located somewhere near the cursed chests. They are relatively easy to spot even from quite a distance as they glow purple. The three figurines (The Sentry Set) can be found by following the treasure maps.
Treasure Hunt. Places where you can find clues or maps showing the location of buried treasure. Only with such a map will you be able to find and dig up the treasure.

Void Breaches are special challenges in which you must traverse a section of the Void, defeating the enemies you encounter inside. When you reach the end of such a mini dungeon, you will leave it through the exit located there, which will take you to an otherwise inaccessible location in the game world where a reward chest will be waiting for you. Completing Void Breaches will guarantee you +3 to all Attributes. Void Breaches are repeatable (Endless).
The ability to activate / use Void Breaches will be unlocked after your meeting with Siridean. You will receive a Tuning Key that will allow you to visit the first, main story-related, such location.

Scourges in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are special challenges in which you must defeat a special, powerful enemy. A special rule applies during the battle, which is displayed on the screen. The reward for defeating the enemy is a Scourge Accretion and +1 to all Attributes.
Elites are special challenges in which you must defeat a few waves of ordinary specters, and finally a slightly stronger elite. The reward for defeating the enemy is a Nest Silt and +1 to all Attributes.
Nests are special challenges in which you must defeat a few waves of . A special rule applies during the battle, which is displayed on the screen. The reward for defeating all enemies is an Elite Gem and +1 to all Attributes.
Haunted Grounds are special areas where you have to solve a series of "puzzles", such as getting rid of several creeping ivies to finally reach the chest located at the end that contains your reward - a piece of equipment.
Lost Chests are a special type of chests that can be found in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. What distinguishes them from regular chests is that they are mostly, except for one, marked with orange glowing symbols and glow orange. They are not locked and contain a piece of equipment. A total of 13 such chests can be found.
Locked Chests are, as the name suggests, chests that you will only open if you have the right key. Each of these chests contains an item of equipment.

Haunting Cases are special quests in the end of which you will have to decide on the fate of living people and spirits involved in the case. Your decision at the end of such a quest will determine the final fate of Antea and also what activities will become available after its completion.
The rewards for completing haunting cases are XP and points that you can use to develop your character. They are also a way to unlock certain areas of the map, as this is the only means by which you will be able to open an early blocked doors or other passages.
Activities are additional side quests closely related to the Haunting Cases. Some time after completing one of the haunting cases, an activity will become available. Which activity it will be will depend on how you decided to end the case, blame the living person or ascend / banish the spirit.
In shelters you can rest and replenish decoction charges, upgrade your equipment, modify your talents and presences, or quickly travel to other unlocked shelters.
