    Location: Skellige

    To start this quest head to the village of Trottheim on Faroe Island. If you approach one of the gates of the village, the Dagr standing at the gate will assume that you are the representative of the Nilfgaard they expect. You can pretend to be the person they think you are, or deny it.

    I'm used to my good friend encountering the bizarre and the appalling in his journeys, but what happened to him on Faroe shocked even my jaded sensibilities. It all started when he walked into a small coastal village and was mistaken for a Nilfgaardian...

    Quest stages of Flesh for Sale

    1. (Optional) Follow the pirate to his boss.

    If you have decided to pretend to be the Nilfgaardian courier they are waiting for, the guard will take you to one of the houses near which you will meet their leader. He thinks you came to their village to buy slaves. To complete this quest without bloodshed you can pay him 500 crowns or use Delusion (3). Then you will receive from him the key t to the cage in which the slaves are kept.

    (Optional) Follow the pirate to his boss.

    2. (Optional) Defeat the pirates. / Find the key to the slaves' cell.

    If you entered the village other ways than through the gates, or if you didn't want to pretend to be the trader they thought you were, then you will have to kill all the pirates (11 - 13) in the village. In the corpse of their boss you will find the key to the cage where the slaves are kept and the key to the pirate leader's house.

    (Optional) Defeat the pirates. / Find the key to the slaves' cell.

    3. Free the slaves.

    Use the key you found or received from the pirate leader to open the cage where the slaves are kept. If you killed the pirates, the slaves will thank you, you will receive the Diagram: Ban Ard breastplate and the Lesser Dazhbog runestone from them and one of the freed women will suggest you to check the house of the pirates' boss because there may be valuables there. Then the quest will end.

    Free the slaves.

    ...and only grew more interesting from there. Geralt was taken to the ringleader of a suspicious band and learned they believed him to be a slave trader come to pick up some live goods. Geralt could not sit and let such barbarity occur in front of his eyes. He reduced the pirates to bloody smears and freed their captives.

    You can unlock the pirate boss' house with the key you took from his body. You'll find some chests, crates, etc. inside.

    Free the slaves.

    4. Lead the slaves away from the pirate village.

    If you have tricked the pirates into being the trader they expected you to be, then once the slaves are freed from the cage you will have to lead them out of the village. When you are away at a safe distance, the slaves will thank you, give the Diagram: Ban Ard breastplate and the Lesser Dazhbog runestone and the quest will end.
