Dell Currys New Wife Nicki Smiths Photos Cause A Stir
Dell Curry, the father of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, remarried recently.
After a highly-publicized divorce from Steph’s mom, one full of infidelity accusations and other sordid details, Dell fell off the map and attempted to maintain a low profile.
Because of how quiet he had been, folks didn’t even realize that he had gotten married recently. Dell made the revelation in an interview a few days ago.
Shortly thereafter, photos of his new wife Nicki Smith caused something of a stir online.
“It’s great. … I didn’t know what I was gonna do (after the divorce),” Dell said.
“I thought about going to the West Coast. I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m not gonna follow my sons. I’m going to stick it out. Hang here.’ And then I had friends who introduced me to my wife now. I’d met her a couple of times.
“We talked on the phone for a month before I laid eyes on her. I’m like: ‘Oh, I like this girl, man. What’s going on here?’
“I wasn’t going to get married again. But life is great right now. It couldn’t be better. For me, I’m at a great place in my life. My home situation is sound. My kids and their families are doing great. They’re happy for me. I’m happy for them. So life’s good.”
Dell isn’t the only person to have moved on, though. Although she didn’t get remarried, Stephen’s mother Sonya appears to have a new love interest as well.

Everyone and everything is healing, it seems.
Will Steph ultimately invite his new stepmother to any Warriors games this season? Time will tell.
