The New York Jets’ newly acquired quarterback Aaron Rodgers is loving life in the Big Apple. The future Hall of Famer was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets earlier this offseason. He even took a $35 million pay cut to help his new team improve their roster.

In an interview with WFAN on Tuesday morning, Rodgers talked about his initial few months with the Jets and how they have been better than he imagined. “It’s really been better that I could have expected,” Rodgers said, “It feels like sometimes that I woke up inside of a dream and that this is my life playing out. I pinch myself at various times throughout the week every single week that I’ve been here.”

The Jets recently acquired running back Dalvin Cook on a one-year deal worth up to $8.6 million. Rodgers said he is “excited” about the move and with Breece Hall returning from an ACL injury, the Jets have a strong backfield going into the season.

The Jets open their season against the Buffalo Bills on September 12. They will hope to get to the playoffs with a strong roster and a legendary quarterback calling the shots at center.
